Rama G – Online Chess Tutor

Contact

I am an online chess tutor and coach for students ranging from absolute beginners to developing and intermediate tournament players. I am especially effective with children and young teens, helping them build confidence, patience, and a solid foundation in the game.

My approach focuses on understanding why moves make sense — not just memorization. Students learn clear opening ideas, simple and meaningful strategies, and steady thinking habits that strengthen their overall play.

I love seeing the lights go on when a student has that 'aha!' moment!

All lessons are conducted live through Zoom, using an interactive online chess board and other visual teaching tools. This allows me to work with students in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Australia, and Singapore, regardless of location.
